Nu.millennia Records is producing an interactive multimedia soundtrack for the Geena Davis pirate movie, Cutthroat Island. The soundtrack will be the first of its kind developed for a motion picture. It will feature interviews with the film's stars and visuals from the movie, along with a traditional audio soundtrack.

Founded by former Compton's NewMedia head, Norm Bastin, nu.millennia launched an Enhanced CD program in October 1995 to produce CD-ROMs for Soundgarden, White Zombie, Clay Walker, Terence Trent D'Arby and P.M. Dawn.

Officials say the company plans to produce two or three more soundtracks in 1996 that can be played on both audio CD players and computer CD-ROM drives.
