Find movie times through Google

Google adds yet another useful tool -- the ability to search for movie times.

While the world slowly transitions to digital delivery, the cinema still holds a certain power. TVs may be getting larger, and home theatre systems better, but only the select few own equipment bigger or better than a movie theatre, able to deliver that "blow you away" quality.

In the comfort of your own home you're also unlikely to share the experience with a hundred other people, as you all slowly grind popcorn into the soft drink ridden carpet, wondering why you paid half the price of a DVD to watch a film only once while the teenagers neck it out in the back.

But we digress.

Google has added yet another useful feature into its search engine, the ability to search for movie times, locally. Simply type a movie title and city, and it should spit back an appropriate result. For example, typing:

I am legend sydney

Gets you this:

If you enter just a movie title without a city and hit search, you're given the option to enter a city above the search results.

You can also find the name of a movie you can't remember by entering memorable quotes, character names, actors or objects. For example, this:

movie: I am the law

Gets you this:

All in all, quite nifty. Have a go!
