An update has landed for Real Racing 3, EA's superb racer for Android and iOS, putting — for the first time since the first game's launch in 2009 — Ferrari supercars in the hands of players.

There are three Ferrari cars now available in the game: the 2011 FF, the latest-model 458 Italia and the 2012 F12berlinetta.

Each car can be purchased using in-game currency — either by winning races and earning it or buying it via IAP.

A new track has been added to the game, too: Spain's Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, which joins classic circuits such as Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps and Hockenheimring.

Other new features include crew recruitment, time trial ghost challenges and head-up display (HUD) customisation.

Real Racing 3 can be downloaded for free for iOS here and for Android here.
