Facebook's purple flower is back.

The "thankful" reaction, which debuted last year for Mother's Day, is back again today just in time for you to express your gratitude on Facebook. But the social network giant has tweaked the reaction so if you choose it on your phone, purple flowers pop up and surround your post. Nifty.

Mother's Day is a big deal to Facebook. The company said that the occasion drove more posts in one day than any other topic, with more than 105 million Mother's Day posts.

Facebook is also adding Mother's Day-themed masks and frames to its camera app, which CEO Mark Zuckerberg has said is going to be a big focus of the company. The company has followed the approach taken by Snap and added filters and stickers to its camera feature.

On Sunday, you'll see a personalized card which you can share with your mom or loved one. In the US, you'll be able to donate to a cause in honor of your mom.

On Instagram, you'll see a new set of stickers.
