Facebook: You wanna make a quick buck?

The social network sends out a survey to measure people's interest in profiting from their posts or promoting causes on the social network.

Facebook is considering ways to let individual users make money from their posts, according to a survey the company sent to some users this week.

The social network's survey asked people if they would be interested in various options for making money or promoting a cause using their "personal presence" on the site, The Verge reported Tuesday. Options include a digital tip jar, branded content, a sponsor marketplace, revenue sharing, a call-to-action button or a donate option for charities.

Facebook didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
