Facebook is set to revamp its privacy settings once more in an attempt to stem the tide of criticism from prominent bloggers and politicians. It will announce "enhanced, simpler privacy controls" at an event later today. CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who earlier this week held up his hands and admitted they had "missed the mark" on privacy, is expected to launch the new system himself. Declan McCullagh will be following the event in a CNET News live blog from 6.30pm: Facebook event will outline 'simpler' privacy controls.
