Facebook users are apparently fascinated by what it's like to experience a blizzard in New York.
A 360-degree video of a blizzard in Times Square filmed by ABC News is the most-viewed video of the year so far on Facebook's 360 video feature, according to a top 10 list the social-networking giant released Tuesday. The feature, introduced in September, lets users scroll on their phones or computers to see in all directions around an object or place.
Since its launch last year, 360 video has been used by a wide variety of publishers to immerse people in causes, sports, fashion, nature, entertainment and news, Facebook said. Almost as popular as chilling out in the Big Apple was watching the opening credits of "Game of Thrones," which holds the first-day record with 5.3 million views in its first 24 hours.
Other popular 360-degree videos featured European soccer games and stunning experiences from National Geographic.
