This totally adorable puppy would make for a pretty awesome spirit guardian, or at the very least a handsome mascot for Gryffindor.
March 5 is World Book Day, and after a slew of tweets and retweets went out showing off people dressed as their favorite "Harry Potter" characters, author J.K. Rowling tweeted a picture of an adorable puppy dressed up as the newest member of Gryffindor. The pooch is even sitting next to a stick, which will probably serve as its magic wand, and its Gryffindor scarf and cape are just too much cute to handle.
Maybe, if the puppy is a good puppy, Rowling will send the newest member of Gryffindor to the real-life Hogwarts larping experience in Poland so the puppy can learn all about the latest spells and enchantments on its way to becoming a puppy wizard.
