Excite@Home signed a deal to offer @Home subscribers free trials of N2H2's Internet Filtering Manager. The content filter will let @Home subscribers tailor it for individual consumers of a family, business, or other group account. The trial, which launched Monday, will run free of charge for six months, after which it will cost subscribers $35.95 per year per account. N2H2 has been angling to get into the broadband market; @Home has 3.2 million subscribers.
