Ex-Cirrus exec joins Texas VC firm

Austin Ventures said this week that a former Cirrus Logic vice president joined the firm as a principal. Clark Jernigan, a former communications and business development executive with Cirrus, will focus on semiconductor-related investments. Austin Ventures, based in Austin, Texas, focuses its investments on companies in the software, semiconductor and communications industries.
