'Everyone Poops' becomes a scarily believable sci-fi thriller

The government is keeping a scatalogical secret in this spoof movie trailer from "Maya and Marty."

It's got all the elements of your standard sci-fi blockbuster. There is the frustrated scientist no one believes, the evil big government keeping secrets under wraps, the meeting with a secret agent in a parking garage and the conspiracy that goes all the way to the president.

But instead of dinosaur DNA or captured aliens or Watergate, the secret being kept is that "Everyone Poops," as in the uber-popular children's book by Taro Gomi. In the spoof trailer from NBC's "Maya and Marty," Ana Gasteyer plays the scientist who fights to expose the scatalogical secret, while husband Kevin Kline denies it even while he's, uh, doo-dooing it.

Hey, if "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" can become a hit, why not "Cloudy With a Chance of Constipation"? But if it ever, uh, comes out, you may want to leave the theater early. Word is the ending is crappy.
