Eudora/AppleWorks bug resolved in latest release

We previously reported on a problem where using an AppleWorks spreadsheet at the same time as Eudora, and then closing AppleWorks, could result in Eudora not being able to check for new mail.

MacFixIt reader Perry Clark reports that this bug is fixed in the latest release of Eudora: "I've got the latest beta version of Eudora 6.1b3, and it appears that the bug with AppleWorks spreadsheets, that would cause Eudora to be unable to check mail, has been fixed."
