Epson launches recycling program

Epson America launched a recycling program Thursday for U.S. customers seeking to dispose of the company's cameras, scanners, printers and other products. Epson said it will charge $10 to cover the cost of shipping and will then give customers a $5 coupon toward future purchases from Epson's online store.

Those seeking to take part in the program can go to the company's Web site to order the packaging and prepaid shipping label. Epson's move comes after other tech companies' recycling efforts and a coupon offer from rival HP.
