Envox brings in $5 million

Software maker Envox Group announced Wednesday that it raised $5 million in its second round of funding. Sweden-based Envox makes communications software that helps businesses develop services such as customer call centers, voice portals and e-commerce. Northzone Ventures, IT Provider and Eqvitec Partners joined first-round investors Servisen and Intel Communications Fund in this latest round of funding. Northzone and IT Provider also gained a seat each on Envox's board of directors. Envox plans to use the new funding to strengthen its product development, marketing, sales and technical support capabilities.
