'Electra Woman and Dyna Girl' trailer showcases superhero sisterhood

YouTube celebs Grace Helbig and Hannah Hart fight crime with fists and funny puns in a reboot of Sid and Marty Krofft's classic '70s TV series "Electra Woman and Dyna Girl."

Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and the Avengers aren't the only superheroes willing to stand up for us mere mortals. Electra Woman and Dyna Girl are ready to punch their way through the bad guys with snazzy costumes and witty comebacks in an new reboot from Legendary Digital Studios.

This "Electra Woman and Dyna Girl" reboot stars YouTube sensations Grace Helbig ("The Grace Helbig Show") and Hannah Hart ("My Drunk Kitchen") as they relocate from Ohio to Los Angeles in hopes of finally getting accolades for their heroic activities.

In the trailer, which debuted Tuesday on YouTube, we see the duo fight crime in obscurity until they land a Hollywood agent and join forces with other superheroes to battle a new threat. But can their friendship survive under the pressure of fame?

The original 1976 "Electra Woman and Dyna Girl" TV series from Sid and Marty Krofft starred Deidre Hall and Judy Strangis. The show aired 16 episodes as part of the children's series "The Krofft Supershow."

The "Electra Woman and Dyna Girl" movie is set to be released on digital June 7 and on DVD July 5.
