Ecast firms up $14 million

Ecast announced Wednesday that it closed a $14 million sixth round of funding, led by Oak Investment Partners and previous investor DCM-Doll Capital Management. Existing investors St. Paul Venture Capital and El Dorado Ventures also contributed to the round. San Francisco-based Ecast has raised more than $40 million in all its rounds. The company delivers and manages pay-per-play digital entertainment content for nondomestic devices such as digital jukeboxes.
