Trump wins and superheroes are in shock

Technically Incorrect: A parody mashup video shows how Thor, Iron Man and friends can't believe what's happened.

Technically Incorrect offers a slightly twisted take on the tech that's taken over our lives.

He's not happy. It's ruined his breakfast.

The howling has begun.

The recriminations are reverberating across the web.

It was the media's fault. It was smug, complacent and blind. No, it was Hillary Clinton's fault. She was smug, complacent and blind.

Perhaps, though, it just comes down to one candidate who has never moved enough people emotionally encountering another who sometimes moves people emotionally too much.

But the question they're asking in every Starbucks and corridor of power today is this: What do superheroes think?

After all, we rely on them to save us when things get rough. We need to know whose side they're on.

One clue is that they all live in Hollywood. So, you know, their likely allegiance is predictable. Someone, though, put together a little YouTube video to show the reactions of Wonder Woman, Superman, Spider-Man, Iron Man and many of their fellow world-protectors.

Oddly, not one of them is leaping in the air and glorying that now America will be far safer and superheroes can take more time off.

Instead, there are only worried, angry faces of the superbeings, all set to the Darth Vader music.

Those who bathe in the power of narrative might wonder where these superheroes were when the interminable campaign was squeezing the life from our brains. Did they, too, drop their guard? Did they assume it was a done deal?

Had they taken time off to, say, pursue a music career? Might they have wanted to create a supergroup and go on tour? (Here's a name for it: Supertrump.)

What will they do now? I suspect someone in Hollywood has already begun writing the script. Working title: "Thor Losers: Superworld vs Yuge."
