Somewhere, there is a drink waiting to be made. The search is one that combines equal parts inspiration and perspiration (hopefully not in the resulting beverage). However, it is not all creativity and brawn that goes into a recipe of blended ingredients; sometimes the solution is as simple as putting on a different thinking cap. One which happens to juice.

The Breville Hemisphere Twist Blender ($130) takes blended drinks to the next level by incorporating a juice reamer for a lid. The citrus juicing lid has openings that allow for fresh juice to be added directly to the blender bowl. The resulting combination is a device that is greater than the sum of its parts, as the step-saving juicing lid offers the ability to inspire new creations simply by just being there.

The addition of the cone attachment on top of the blender practically begs to be put in use. The new feature adds an extra dimension to an already popular blender line by Breville. The "hemisphere" in its name refers to the contoured shape of the blender bowl and the resulting blade design. Spinning those blades anew can add new life to old recipes. Whether soup, sauce or drink is on the menu, a new blend is only a lemon or lime away.
