Disney to auction monorail car

A car from Walt Disney World's monorail train is going up for sale on Disney Auctions, a joint undertaking by the Walt Disney Internet Group and eBay that auctions off memorabilia from the entertainment giant. The car, which is the nose of the "Monorail Red" train that greeted visitors to the Florida theme park from 1971 to 1993, has logged almost 1 million miles, or the equivalent of 38 trips around the circumference of the globe, the company said. Bidding for it will begin May 27.
