Destroy hunger with Star Wars Death Star peanut butter cups

Why build a real, expensive Death Star when this peanut butter and chocolate version is much more satisfying and less dangerous? Impress the Sith Lord in your life with this easy-to-make recipe.

These Star Wars Death Stars are a lot cheaper to build than the real deal.

Darth Vader might have a soft spot for the Death Star, but many of us just don't have the money, patience or evil temperament to construct our own weapon of mass planetary destruction.

With this video from Instructables, though, you can at least make Death Star peanut butter cups.

All you need are Death Star silicone ice sphere molds, chocolate for melting, peanut butter, powdered sugar, unsalted butter, salt, bowls, spoons and a plastic bag or small funnel.

In this video, Matt Taylor, host of the YouTube show "In the Kitchen with Matt," shows you how to quickly melt chocolate, place it in the Death Star mold, put the peanut butter inside, fill the mold with more chocolate, then freeze it all in the refrigerator.

All in all, the entire process seems so simple that even an Ewok could do it (though it might be tricky not to get fur in the chocolate).

Watch the video below to see how to make these sweet little Death Stars step-by-step.
