Amazon is continuing its march into your smart home by announcing it will be integrating voice control for the Denon HEOS multiroom speaker system.
Coming in Q1 2017 users will be able to control their HEOS products by using the Alexa voice service on an iOS, Android or Amazon Fire device.
HEOS is a multiroom series of products that enables users to stream services such as Amazon Music, Spotify, Pandora, SiriusXM and Soundcloud in addition to MP3 and hi-res downloads.
Denon's major rival Sonos announced last month it would also be using Alexa's voice assistant to control its series of products.
Sonos announced it was suing Denon for "copying its system" in October 2014 for what the company claimed was a similarity between the two lines of products.
