DEMO 96: SetNet unveiled at Demo 96

SetNet today announced its namesake email product. The package eliminates the need for gateways and individual Internet accounts at small businesses.

INDIAN WELLS, California--Miami-based SetNet unveiled at Demo 96 a namesake email package aimed at small businesses that lets multiple users send and receive email via a single phone line, modem, and Net connection.

SetNet Mail gives employees access to Internet Mail but does not allow them to surf the Web or link to other Net areas, officials said.

The Net mail package includes a directory-query feature, security support, a spell checker, and support for the Zip utility.

Priced at $695 for five users, SetNet works with Windows 95 and Windows 3.1 PCs.
