Dell targets students with new notebook

Company releases new addition to its Latitude laptop series powered by Intel processors.

Dell on Tuesday released a new addition to its Latitude notebook series targeted at students and small businesses. The new offering, 110L, is powered by Intel processors. Customers can choose the 1.3GHz Celeron M or the 1.6GHz Pentium M processors.

The system comes with either a 14.1- or 15-inch XGA display, 30GB to 60GB hard drives and a set of fixed optical drives, the company said. An option for wireless connectivity is also available. Pricing for the new notebook starts at $899.
