Deadpool shows us why Marvel nicknamed him the Merc with a Mouth in a hilarious YouTube video called "How Deadpool Spent Halloween."
Actor Ryan Reynolds dons his Deadpool costume and attempts to convince kids in X-men costumes to join him in battle. Reynolds played the character in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" back in 2009 and will reprise the role in an upcoming movie named for his character.
"You may be wondering why I brought you here," Reynolds as Deadpool says in the video, which posted Tuesday and is already nearing 2 million views. "At some point we must all join forces and become a team."
Deadpool mocks Cyclops, compares Storm to weatherman Al Roker and literally shakes a terrified Beast.
He even gives a young Mystique a large knife to hold as he pushes her on the swing.
As expected there's plenty of bleeping to block Deadpool's signature R-rated insults, and the kids don't hold back their distain. They even give Reynolds a hard time for his lead role in "Green Lantern."
"I think Deadpool may have been drugged," the kid dressed as Cyclops says in the video.
"I really wish we could sew his mouth shut again," the kid dressed as Wolverine says, which in truth is something adult Wolverine would probably agree with wholeheartedly.
Here's hoping Reynolds dresses back up as Deadpool and posts more seasonal video hijinks for Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas and New Year's Eve.
"Deadpool" is scheduled to premiere February 5 in the UK, followed by Australia on February 11 and the US on February 12.
