CUseeMe Networks cuts work force

CUseeMe Networks announced Tuesday it will cut 28 percent of its work force, as the integrated voice and video software company seeks to cut costs pending a merger with First Virtual Communications. The Nashua, N.H.-based CUseeMe is cutting 35 positions, a move that is expected save $2.5 million annually. The company's shareholders are scheduled to vote June 19 on its proposed merger with First Virtual.
