Computer Sciences Corp. said on Thursday that it won a seven-year, $600 million outsourcing contract with Chicago-based insurer Aon to render information technology support services in the United States.

Under the agreement, CSC will run and manage Aon's U.S. communications and data networks, and provide desktop, help desk and other IT support services. Aon, however, will still have final say in IT strategy, architecture and application development.

Most of the 600 IT employees and contractors working at Aon will join Computer Sciences by late August.

Early this year, Norwegian insurer ="5147659">Vesta engaged Computer Sciences to provide IT services through a five-year, $30 million contract.
