Creative Labs announced Thursday that starting in May consumers will be able to buy its 60GB Nomad Jukebox Zen digital audio player. The Milipitas, Calif.-based company said the hard drive-based player can hold up to 16,000 songs and will sell for $399.99. Songs can be transferred from a PC to the device via a USB 2.0 connection and can run for 14 hours on a full charge of its built-in, rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The company is offering an optional wire remote control with a built-in FM tuner and microphone for the device.
