There are certain things you can always count on. The sun will rise, Amy Winehouse will punch people in the face, and -- come rain, sleet or snow -- the Crave Podcast will launch on a Friday.*

Believe us when we say we've got an awesome show this week. Rory 'God, I'm hungover' Reid, Ian 'the sky is falling' Morris, Andrew 'did he really just say that?' Lim are your presenters this week, along with a special guest: Ella Morton from CNET Australia. She's the one with hair the colour of Mars and a voice that's the texture of fresh-baked Lamington.

As usual, the gang dissect some of the week's best news, including news of a robot controlled by a blob of rat brain, a new invisibility cloak, word that robotic police are a mere 75 years away, and how real-life flesh-based cops shocked residents of Sussex with gay pornography.

The Year in Tech looks at 1998 -- a time of copycat movies, strange handheld devices like the Bandai WonderSwan and the camera and printer accessory for the Game Boy Color. Then, there's the feedback section, where we laugh at your technical ineptitude, and of course WTF, which poses the question: are games more damaging to children than watching porn?

Right-click this link to download the show, click here to subscribe in iTunes, visit the Crave Podcast Lounge in the forum, then go tell all your mates how amazing we are. Until Episode 99, kiddies. -Rory Reid
