Covisint uses EDS for customer support
Online marketplace Covisint said Tuesday that it has hired EDS to handle all aspects of worldwide customer service and support for its line of products and services aimed at the automotive industry. The IT services company will field all customer questions and problems related to Covisint applications, such as its online automotive parts auctions. EDS will also place bids in Covisint auctions on behalf of customers who aren't able to bid online directly. The companies did not disclose the terms of the deal. Auto giants General Motors, Ford Motor and DaimlerChrysler founded Covisint two years ago.
