Covisint brings Deloitte on board

Covisint continued its partnering spree Tuesday by signing up Deloitte Consulting. Deloitte will be Covisint's first consulting services partner since the automotive exchange became its own corporate entity in December, the companies said in a statement. The consulting company will assist Covisint customers in their efforts to build up the marketplace and integrate their computing systems with the electronic exchange. Although financial details of the deal were not disclosed, it signals that Covisint is still opening its pocketbook and remains a bright spot for software makers and service providers during turbulent economic times.
