Conditions for submitting photos

As a condition of submitting photos, you hereby grant CNET Networks a perpetual, universal, nonexclusive, royalty-free and sublicensable license to copy, reproduce, publicly display, modify, alter, transmit and distribute any materials provided by you.

You must have a current Model or Property Release for each photograph submitted that includes a recognizable individual or trademarked property and, as a condition to submitting photos, you accept all liability for any Model or Property Release issues that may arise in connection with photographs that you have submitted from a recognizable individual or trademarked property in the image. Please do not submit slides for which you do not have a current Model or Property Release in your files.

CNET Networks will take reasonable steps to prevent the unauthorized use of the images that are displayed within its Web sites, however, CNET Networks shall not be liable for any misuse of your images by third parties that may result from use of the images. By submitting a photograph you acknowledge that you are fully aware and understand that the digital images can be easily transferred and manipulated, and you hereby release CNET Networks from any liability related to the digital theft of your images.

News.com?s photo submission process is being managed by Webshots.com, a CNET Networks company. However, photos submitted to News.com will not be included on Webshots.com.
