Compuware to unveil new application tool
The software maker will release a new tool at the Network+Interop conference for managing and analyzing the performance of applications that run on corporate networks.
EcoScope 4.0--which will be unveiled at the Network+Interop industry trade show Monday--offers more detailed, easy-to-use reports on an application's performance and can ascertain whether service requirements of a firm's information technology (IT) department are being met.
Compuware said the reports are able to detail the average response time for users who access applications, as well as the amount of traffic each application generates.
Other new features include support for Gigabit Ethernet networking technology and the ability to measure individual business transactions, such as response times for database queries seeking customer or purchasing information.
EcoScope 4.0 ships in June, and pricing starts at $36,500.
