Compiere, a maker of open-source enterprise resource planning, or ERP, software, has lost Dawn Foster, its director of community and partner programs, to Jive Software, another open-source firm specializing in software for collaboration tools such as wikis and forums. She'll become Jive's director of developer relations beginning May 3, she said.
Foster announced the move on her blog Thursday, just a not long after she announced the move from Intel to Compiere in November.
She said she moved because Jive fits with her personal interests and because Silicon Valley-based Compiere's growth made telecommuting from Portland awkward.
