Code-review start-up joins Linux lab

Firm that sells software to make sure open-source and proprietary software doesn't intermingle, joins the Open Source Development Labs.

Black Duck Software, which sells software to make sure open-source and proprietary software doesn't intermingle, has joined the Open Source Development Labs, the Linux consortium said Tuesday. OSDL is backed by numerous computing companies, including Computer Associates, Intel, IBM and Hewlett-Packard.

Karen Copenhaver, Black Duck's executive vice president and General Counsel, and Kevin Bedell, director of the company's consulting services, will speak at the OSDL Enterprise Linux Summit on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1.
