CNET UK podcast 484: WWDC, Microsoft's spam surge and the world's longest tunnel

Luke Westaway and Rich Trenholm wonder what Apple could have hidden up its big shiny sleeves. Plus much more news and chat on the UK's best tech podcast.

Ha! Classic Siri. But seriously, can we have some Siri updates this WWDC?

Apple's cooking up something new, with its next big press event scheduled for 13 June. We're looking forward to new software news, but not holding our breath for any new hardware.

Meanwhile, Tesla boss Elon Musk has some sharp words for Tim Cook and pals, saying Apple may have missed the boat on autonomous cars. And Microsoft's seen its Outlook email service go awry, withspam flooding customers' inboxes for nearly 17 hours.

We've also got the first photos of grown-up Harry, Hermione and Ron from the upcoming "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" stage show. And in really boring news, the world's longest tunnel has been drilled through the Alps. Geddit? Boring?

Meanwhile, outside of podcast land we've been speaking to "World of Warcraft" players about their memories of Blizzard's MMORPG -- including the director of the new "Warcraft" movie, Duncan Jones. Ever wondered how people get sucked into this game? Hit play to find out.

Now playing: Watch this: 'Warcraft' director Duncan Jones and fellow fans share...
