Unless you've been lurking in a remote cabin with no Internet access in the Outer Hebrides for the past week (hope you had nice weather), it can't possibly have escaped your notice that an extremely important event in the tech calendar has been occurring over the last few days.
CES in Las Vegas is where all the biggest names in the tech world gather once a year to show off their wares for all to see. As such, it's only right that we head West every January on a tech pilgrimage to bring you the latest news on the hot products for the year ahead.
This year Jason Jenkins and Luke Westaway, two esteemed members of the CNET UK team, joined forces with Bridget Carey of CNET.com to bring you our weekly podcast all the way from the desert city -- a video of which was streamed live across the Internet for all to see. If you missed it, we have it here for you to watch again.
With 2,700 exhibitors, CES is enormous, and it would be impossible to cover the whole show in a single podcast but goshdarnit, the chaps have given it a jolly good go.
A big talking point of the exhibition, and one on which Jason, Luke and Bridget enjoy waxing lyrical, is the prevalence of smart TVs. One has even been crowned winner of this year's CES Award for Best in Show.
Also on the podcast agenda are ultrabooks, which are likely to be the biggest development of the coming year in the laptop world.
Hit play on the video above to find out what the highlights of the show have been for the CNET UK podcast team.
