Hillary Clinton is in hot water with the State Department.

A State Department Inspector General report knocked the Democratic presidential candidate for not following the standard policies for preserving e-mails, according to CNN. The report said Clinton should have surrendered all emails related to her business as secretary of state.

The controversy over Clinton's use of private e-mails continues to dog her in her presidential campaign.

Spokesmen for the State Department and Clinton's presidential campaign weren't immediately available for comment.
