CES: One shot of the Samsung Infuse 4G

Samsung showed the Infuse 4G for AT&T at a CES press event, but it wouldn't let us look at it for very long.

That's all you'll see of the Samsung Infuse 4G. Kent German/CNET

LAS VEGAS--Though Samsung has officially unveiled the Infuse 4G for AT&T, the company is remaining very tight-lipped as to what the device will offer. We don't know much beyond what we told you already, and Sammy isn't responding to our appeals for more details.

Believe us when we say that's all very frustrating at the gadget extravaganza that is CES, particularly when the product has been announced. We didn't even get to hold the Infuse 4G in our hands when we saw it tonight and Samsung would only show us one side. All we can ask is, seriously?

For your enjoyment, however, we will show you the one photo that we were permitted to take. It shows the bright 4.5-inch Super AMOLED display, the Android 2.2 OS, and a bit of the device's thin styling. Inside are a 1.2GHz Hummingbird processor, an 8-megapixel camera with HD video recording, and a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera for video calls, Sadly, we didn't get the chance to take the features through their paces.

Hopefully, we'll get more glamour shots over the next days. And if we're really lucky, we'll capture it on video.
