Hell toupee: Cat wearing hat made of own fur looks like Trump

A Japanese photographer makes hats for his three Scottish fold cats, using their own discarded fur. One in particular gets our vote.

If you've ever owned a cat, you know some of them shed like they're Rapunzel wanting you to braid an escape rope. Really, cats, it's fine. You can keep that fur on your body, and we'll use the stairs.

Japanese photographer Ryo Yamazaki collects the hair shed by his three Scottish fold cats and makes it into, uh, hats. Cat hats. Then he rounds up his cats, which according to Bored Panda are named Nyaa, Mar and Wheat, and makes them wear the caps. Then he ups the humiliation by sharing photos of the done-up kitties on Instagram.

They look about as thrilled as you'd think.

In one particular cat with its cat-hair hat, Yamazaki spotted a resemblance to a certain American president-elect, kinda like this pheasant now making headlines in China.

Nobody makes use of boxes better than me👍🏻 I will build a great wall of boxes in my room, and I will make my owner pay for that wall.

He even gives the cat a presidential-sounding quote in the caption.

"Nobody makes use of boxes better than me," he writes. "I will build a great wall of boxes in my room, and I will make my owner pay for that wall."

Hey, the Cat in the Hat did run for president, but somehow we don't think this is what he had in mind.
