Looks like Marvel's new miniseries "Jessica Jones" will feature not only a but an actress from the "Matrix" movie trilogy.
Actress Carrie-Anne Moss will play the character of Harper -- "a no-nonsense woman who could prove a powerful ally to Jessica...if Jessica doesn't completely alienate her first," according to Marvel.com.
The 13-episode Marvel series to debut on Netflix this year chronicles the life of ex-superhero Jessica Jones as she launches her career as a New York City detective who gets pulled into cases involving people with unusual talents.
Moss will star alongside Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), David Tennant (Kilgrave), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), and Rachael Taylor (Patricia "Trish" Walker) in the Netflix original series.
Moss is best known for her role as Trinity in the "Matrix" movie trilogy, as well as characters in the films "Memento," "Disturbia" and "Chocolat."
