Canon unveils budget printers

Canon on Monday introduced two low-end inkjet printers, including a $50 color model. The i250 comes with a price tag of $50 and promises up to 4,800 dots per inch (dpi) by 1,200dpi color resolution, speeds of up to 12 pages per minute (ppm) in black, and up to 9 ppm in color. The i350, priced at $60, features a resolution of up to 4,800dpi by 1,200dpi, speeds of up to 16 ppm in black, and up to 11 ppm in color. Both models work with Mac and Windows computers and are slated to be available next month.
