Cambridge Technology Partners has taken an equity stake in PeopleSupport, an online provider of customer relationship management (CRM) software and services. The professional services firm said it intends to help PeopleSupport create and foster long-term business relationships with its clients. The undisclosed investment was made under Cambridge's recently-formed Newco investments unit and venture capital fund. To date, the company has invested in companies such as Active Software, DigitalThink and E.piphany.
