CA files suit against Rocket Software

Business software maker alleges Rocket stole intellectual property; seeks damages of at least $200 million and injunction.

Business software maker CA said it has filed an amended complaint in a U.S. federal court against Rocket Software, alleging Rocket stole intellectual property related to a number of CA's key database management software products.

In the amended complaint, CA seeks damages of at least $200 million as well as an injunction preventing Rocket from continuing to distribute its database management software products, CA said in a statement.
