Hey Buzz crew,
I heard the Blockbuster nostalgia on today’s show and wanted to share my recent movie rental story. Last week I had a sudden and immediate need for The Princess Bride, as my son was home sick from school and I realized he had somehow never seen it. Of course, it was NOT on Netflix instant watch. I checked every store in town that sells movies, and no luck. Then I finally remembered – Blockbuster! We still have one of those! A short drive and a dollar-fifty later I was holding a 5-day rental of The Princess Bride in my hands. Sick day saved! So there is still a niche for Blockbuster that isn’t currently filled by other services. However, writing this reminded me that I haven’t taken it back yet and it’s due today, so I have to rush to avoid late fees. Oh yeah, that’s what happened to Blockbuster.

Love the show,

Carlie

Haya BOL crew, love the show, I’ve been listening for about a year now and I’m hooked. I listen every day wile I drive from job to job (Dentist Computer Tech) on my HTC Hero and google listen… ANYWHO… to my point. I’ve been a Netflix user for about a year now and about 1 month ago I started to notice these “”Netflix Version DVD’s”" and I’m SUPER ANNOYED!!! The fact that I now can not get access to bonus features and also I have to watch ALL of the opening plus I’m guessing they add about 10 mins of their own stuff. and to finish it off the quality of the image is terrible to all thou that may just be me >.>. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this and/or why they are DOING THIS!!!!! Haha.. thanks for the chance to rant, Later

p.s. I do pay for the 3 DVD’s out at a time….

Hi buzz crew,
Just thought I’d try and help out your busy congressmen and women by creating this simple guide to building new laws.
1: Receive lobbyist manifesto.
2: press ctrl-a
3: press ctrl-c
4: open new legislation
5: press ctrl-v
6: take legislation to the house
By following this simple guide, I’m sure that we will all continue to get the amazingly high quality laws that we’ve seen over the last decade.
Cheers,
Jeff from Sydney

Hey Guys,

I was a little worried that my four year old daughter was going to be some kind of weirdo because she has this odd eyeball fascination. So I was happy to hear when it when Molly said her son does the same thing.
At least she isn’t going to be the only eyeball kid at school.

Love the show,

Jim from Hauppauge, NY
