Buzz Out Loud 1356: Microsoft listens to the show (podcast)

Microsoft now says the Kinect was left open "by design." Ok, if that's what you have to say to save some face, guys. We know you got the "Lego robotics model" idea from us. Also, Netflix officially launches its streaming-only plan, Murdoch brings the paywall to the iPad, and FIOS gets even faster for the lucky few who have it (or can afford it). --Molly

Hey Buzz Crew,
In regards to Episode 1355, You were talking about Gowalla and Disney’s Parks partnership, there a major problem with this partenship. NO DATA COVERAGE AT DISNEYLAND!!!! Cell Phones service SUCKS at Disneyland. I am a frequent visitor to Disneyland (I have an annual pass) In the past years Disneyland has become increasingly popular(once again) and thus this leads to cell phone services like 3G being shot down like a nut. One Major Complaint that the Disney Crowd has is the cell phone data rate speeds at Disneyland. When were trying to post updates and check email, We most all have 5 bars but speeds suck becuase of data hords. Even Disney Cast Members dont use their cell phones because of this issue. This happen across all carriers not just ATT. and just to prove my point just imagine trying to use your phone is this crowd, (I took this picture Friday the 21) The cell phone towers there get so overloaded that sending text messages are nearly impossible most of the time. And tell Brian Tong dont make fun of Disney crowd, Were really Tech Savy.. we use Twitter, message boards, facebook and blogs to keep up with all rumors and stuff that happens with Disney. And Molly get yourself a vacation and go to Disneyland, except Halloween and Christmas REALLY BUSY even worse than the picture….

Hey Buzz crew, Marlon the “”GuyfromTrinidad”" here, its been exciting looking at all the Kinect hacks that have been coming out over the last few weeks but this one has me really excited, because of its potential. Remember way back when it was Project Natal, there was a promotional video that showed a boy scanning his skateboard and then using it in a game, this hack makes that concept video seem as if their is some truth to it. Hardcore gamers may jump on board if they can scan a plastic gun and use it in Gears of War 3 or COD black ops (maybe). Anyway it is a pretty cool hack. Luv the show.
