Amazon comes up with the best idea ever for converting terrible gifts to good gifts -- before they even get to your doorstep. Take that, Aunt Mildred! Also, RockMelt stands us up, so we demand 50 more invites (which seems counterintuitive, I know). Also, Glassgate hits case-makers, goodbye to Ask.com, and what social networks are doing with all those email addresses, anyway! --Molly

hi buzz crew, Ole in Oslo (aka Storebj0rn in the chatroom) here:
when you talked about the Hasbro 3d ipad goggle thingy yesterday, you described it as a potentially immersive experience but you’d look like a dork using it.
now, even as a non-native english speaker, the word immersive is to me a dead give-away.
I propose a new buzzword rule of thumb, for inhabitants of Buzztown to consider:
“if a gadget or system promises an immersive experience, you will most likely look like a dork during said experience”.
love the show,
ole in oslo/aka Storebj0rn
