"X-Men: Apocalypse" arrives in theaters on Thursday, but starting Monday fans can get a jump on the box office by purchasing tickets directly through the Snapchat app.
All week long, Snapchatters will see a video ad for the movie in the Discovery section, hidden among the other media brands.
Clicking the "Show Now" button at the bottom of the ad brings up a Fandango mobile portal where users can buy tickets to a local showing without actually leaving the app.
To be clear, Snapchat isn't selling the actual movie tickets here, it's simply enabling fans to shop without switching back and forth between apps.
The campaign also includes a lens takeover for Snapchatters in the US to mutate themselves into nine different X-Men, including Cyclops, Mystique, Nightcrawler, Storm, Magneto, Quicksilver, Professor X, Beast, and of course Apocalypse.
The lenses are available now and are set to expire in 24 hours, but you can buy tickets for "X-Men: Apocalypse" through Snapchat until Thursday.
