The weekly show, called "Next Step," will premiere Feb. 5 at 10 a.m. on KRON Channel 4. It will be co-hosted by KRON anchor Suzanne Shaw and senior reporter Stan Bunger from KRON's South Bay NewsCenter.
Business 2.0 reporters will help provide content for the show.
In addition to the weekly show, "Next Step" will offer news on its Web site, KRON representatives said.
Today's announcement comes a little more than a month after Business 2.0, published by Imagine Media and based in Brisbane, Calif., announced its new publication schedule. Instead of once a month, the magazine will publish twice a month beginning in May.
Executives for the magazine said that since its launch in August 1998, circulation for Business 2.0 has grown from 160,000 to 210,000.
The figure is not surprising given that most publications are reaping benefits from the tech boom, according to a Deutsche Banc Alex Brown analyst. In a December report, the analyst said that U.S. newspaper publishers are benefiting from an influx of Internet businesses looking for exposure through advertisements.
