Boston Dynamics isn't just about killer robots. The company also has a softer, more helpful side. Meet SpotMini.

The robotics company, known for its terrifying horses and Terminator-like soldiers, on Thursday released a video featuring its new companion robot SpotMini.

The new "dog" is shown navigating a household, ducking under tables, helping with the dishes and kind-of hilariously coming off second best against a banana peel.

Meanwhile, Google is reportedly in talks with other companies, such as Toyota, to sell Boston Dynamics. It's rumored that communication between the two has worsened since Google acquired the robot maker in 2013.
