Boost Mobile to sell iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus

The prepaid service provider, owned by Sprint, says only that the new Apple smartphones are coming and offers nothing about pricing or launch date.

Boost Mobile, the prepaid service provider owned and operated by Sprint, will start selling the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, the company announced on Tuesday.

Boost is keeping details close to the vest for now, saying only that the new Apple smartphones are in fact coming to the service. A Sprint spokeswoman declined to provide CNET any information on Boost's pricing or when the devices would be made available.

The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus launched last week to much fanfare. Apple announced that it sold 10 million iPhone 6 and 6 Plus units in their first weekend of availability, setting a new record for new smartphone sales at the company.

Apple's iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are currently available at all major carriers. Retailers include Best Buy, Walmart, Sam's Club, RadioShack, Target and Staples.
